A paid social campaign with the aim to drive SMWS membership sales as a Christmas gift.
The bottle was created using image references from their professional photo shoots, and using factory print files for the label.
By using the original print files as a basis, I could quickly create many variations of the bottles without having to go through many steps each time. This is an important aspect due to the great variety of Whisky that the Society produces, but also to swap out the bottle cap colours and allow for the Christmas Tree reveal.
Another important aspect of this project was the song. AudioNetwork had the best close to premium feeling collection without being PRS rates and proving expensive. I edited the timing of the track to hit a crescendo at the crucial time using Adobe Audition, and the typography was edited to hit the beats. Everything was tested using a very quick untextured render so as not to waste time rendering out a sequence that would change.
Ensuring render time was manageable within budget and time constraints meant experimenting with samples and lighting setups to avoid grain and fireflies.
